The Wiregrass Amateur Radio Club (WARC) serves amateur radio operators in the southeast portion of Alabama including Houston, Henry, Dale, and Geneva counties. WARC is located in Dothan, Alabama, the “Peanut Capital of the World.”
The Wiregrass Amateur Radio Club, Inc. is a formally “Affiliated Club” with the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) – the National Association for Amateur Radio.
Club Meetings
WARC meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at the American Red Cross, located at 1004 Montezuma Avenue in Dothan at 6:30 p.m. All Hams and anyone interested in amateur radio are welcome.
Club Eat and Greet
The local Hams get together for lunch every Friday starting at 11:30 (Hot’s Deli on Westgate Pkwy) . Come on out and join us for a bit of “Eat and Greet.” All are welcome!
Club Workshop
On the Saturday of each month following our club meeting, WARC holds a “New and Not so New Ham Workshop”. The workshop is held at 9:00 AM in the club station located at the American Red Cross at 1004 Montezuma Ave in Dothan.

Club Repeaters
WARC maintains voice repeaters on 145.430 (–) MHz and 444.775 (+) MHz. Both repeaters are linked and require a 186.2Hz tone.
